Our Church Mission

Where God and Family Meet

Our mission is to establish a connection point between God's designs and their practical application in our lives. Here visitors may find lessons which bring light to common pitfalls in daily life through humor. We invite you to come back regularly to find guidance and enlightenment to encourage your personal growth in Christ.

The Painter

There was a painter named Wayne who was very interested in making a penny where he could, so he often thinned down his paint to make it go a wee bit further. As it happened, he got away with this for some time, but a large church in town decided to do a renovation job. Wayne put a bid in and because his price was so low, he got the job. He set about to erect the scaffolding, the planks and the buying of the paint. Oh, yes--- I'm sorry to say, thinning it down with terpentine. Wayne was up on the scaffold painting away - the job was nearly completed - when suddenly there was a heaby clap of thunder and the sky opened and the rain poured down washing the thin paint from off the church. It knocked wayne clear off the scaffold to the lawn below by the puddles of thinned useless paint. Wayne was no fool. He knew this was judgment from the Almighty so he got on his knees and cried, "Oh, God, forgive me! What am I going to do?"
Suddenly from the thunder a mighty voice spoke,
"Repaint, repaint and thin no more!"
Never forget: Do not cheat God, nor anyone. It will always come back at you one day.
